Momma Told Me: At some point time becomes more of a practical element, meant for counting down days until bills, and hours between diaper changes. And sleep is a luxury reserved for stolen cat naps and weekend book clubs.

While the problem, for most modern women, would seem to be a lack of hours in the day- I argue it is an overload of things to be done. Not too surprisingly the technology developed to make our lives easily has only enabled those of us who are headstrong and driven to take on even more. Whether you're a single mother, student, or businesswoman- chances are, whatever your label is, it's not the only you keep. Busy moms take classes online in between juggling family schedules, managing finances, and hand making play costumes- before heading out the door to pilates. And those without children find themselves managing 100's of 'friends' through social media while working multiple jobs, writing a blog, and preparing for the latest charity run. You get the picture; while some argue technology has made us lazy, I submit there are just as many people running around with their Blackberrys trying to schedule their busy lives. 'Beauty Sleep,' as it's known, seems to be reserved for super models and millionaires.

One would think, working out of the house, I would have time to lounge around all day and enjoy assorted Bon Bons while following the latest Days of Our Lives plot and playing online poker. I assure you that is most certainly NOT the case. And, while I do thrive best in the afternoon and evenings a disturbing pattern has risen. The silky backing is extremely soft, and the added padding provides comfort and the darkness I crave. There is no comparison between this sleep mask and any other store bought one I've owned!
