Momma Mondays: Joy Factory Zip USB Touch N Go Charging Station Giveaway and Review!

Well readers; this week I had the chance to review a really cool product. The item I am speaking of is the Zip USB Touch-n-go™ Multi-Charging Station with Micro USB & Mini USB Low-Profile ZipTail Receivers offered by thejoyfactory.com. The Joy Factory's website features “lifestyle-driven digital companion accessories”. The product line consists of smart phone and tablet specialty accessories such as; protective cases, portfolios, 360-degree rotating stands and charging solutions for today’s tech-savvy consumers. In a nut shell; their site features several items that are aimed at making your life a little easier and, in particular with this product, less cluttered all while making a fashion statement. The Joy Factory's namesake is based on the literal definition of "Joy" the emotion of great delight or happiness caused by something exceptionally good or satisfying. The focus of this company is to elicit a joyful experience for the consumer by providing a line of unique, high quality, digital companion products. Their product offerings include accessories for mobile devices such as iPad™ and iPhone ®.

The Zip USB Touch-n-go™ Multi-Charging Station with Micro USB & Mini USB Low-Profile ZipTail Receivers makes charging all your devices quick and easy. Who among us hasn’t had that “cord farm” either dangling behind their computer desk, or draped all over the kitchen counters? You know what I’m talking about, each and every device has its own cord and needs a dedicated power supply. I'm so sick and tired of seeing that, ugly, white, 6-pronged surge protector with all of those cords plugged into it. If your house is anything like mine, and I’m guessing it is, there are never enough power sockets to accommodate the number of electronic devices that you need to plug in. It’s gotten so bad in my home that I have found my cell phone plugged into the bathroom socket (next to the sink and electric toothbrush), my husband’s cell phone teetering on the windowsill (above a plug that we had no other use for), his iPod charging on the kitchen sink and every other plug in the house being taken up by the computer, hard drives, and everything else that one has to have to survive nowadays.

The Zip’s Touch-n-go™ charging station is a product, specifically designed, to help ease your pain with regards to the stresses of your, ever growing “cord farm”. This device almost makes it effortless; not to mention far more esthetically pleasing. It’s simple to set up and easy to use. Just touch your device to the pad and it pops into place onto the charging station. Another really nice feature is that you can take a call without being tethered to an outlet. There's nothing graceful about dangling from a 4 foot cell phone power cord, attached to the wall, while taking a call. You might get "Style Points" for your efforts; but believe me, it's not flattering. With the "Ziptails"attached to your phone, there is no struggling with the cord. You simply lift your phone up, off of the charging station, answer it, and walk away.

One of my pet peeves is that I can’t tell, just by looking at them, which cord belongs to what device. I’ve spent far too much time trying to figure it all out. None of us have the time to, constantly, matched up our cords and devices. Nothing is worse, than being in a hurry, only to find a tangled up mess of cords dangling from the desk top. The sleek, ultra-low profile “ZipTail” connectors eliminate the cord tangling nightmare. Another plus to having this system, is that there is zero percent power loss, because the connectors are plugged directly into your devices. This feature is important in dealing with today’s power gobbling electronic gadgets.

I’m not sure that I want to divulge the exact number of electronic devices, currently being accommodated in my house. But; let’s just say…..all my plugs are being used. I’m pretty sure that the “cord farm” is multiplying while I sleep. Speaking of multiple devices; the Zip’s Touch-n-go™ is designed to receive your Kindle, Blackberry, Treo and any other mobile devices or tablets. Dependent on the power transformers on your devices; this charging station will charge up to three cell phones at once. In some instances you might be able to charge more; it all depends on the power transformer for the devices. The initial kit comes with one mini USB and two micro USB receivers. To expand your charging capabilities; you can purchase additional receivers, as well as, an optional case with connector. This product features Ultra-Fast Charging, Easy Calling, and best of all a Clutter Free Working Environment! All this and it’s glossy black finish and thin, elegant form; makes it a perfect addition to your desktop décor. I love mine. I can't tell you enough, how happy I am to have "cut" my dependency on the old "cord farm". It's pretty. It's sleek. It's functional. And it's staying proudly on my desktop for all to see! Thanks for a great solution to an, everyday, source of irritation. Keep the products coming!
