Growing up I was never much of a girly girl. Before video games and computers I was scaling trees on the playground and when our family invested in America Online I became hopelessly addicted to server gaming on channels such as Descent, Hexen, and DOOM. I'll admit, I never paid much thought to robotics, never tinkered with making my own brush bots or tried to take apart my parent's alarm clock. However, there was a fascination with the combination of real life and virtual reality that ultimately led me to pursue game art and design after high school.
